SharePoint 2010 Script Error

Ever had this come up on you “You may be trying to access this site from a secure browser on the server” ? Well, the second part of the error goes like this “Please enable scripts and reload this page”. As the second part of the message says, please ensure that scripts are enabled as they may have got disabled by accident. You can do this though Tools –> Internet Options –> Security and then check and verify that scripts are enabled under you level settings.

The second option to consider here is, turning of the browser security (IESEC) via-Server Management –> Security Information.

Project Server 2007 Loading Grid…

This was the only thing I kept getting the whole time on my Project Web Access. Initially I thought it just needed some time to render itself, unfortunately that wasn’t the case. I then cleared my history, cookies etc etc and restarted my browser, but that did not help either.

After Binging around, I found this download of Project Web Access ActiveX controls. After downloading the controls and extracting them to a temporary location, I followed the instruction from this Microsoft Support article. I followed the steps relevant to Project 2007, then restarted my browser again and everything was back to normal.
